Dr. Kayanne McKenzie is a Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about the field of nursing. She specializes in perioperative care center nursing as well as a critical and acute care nurse with specializations in medical-surgical/perioperative care, and telehealth. She brings over 20 years’ experience in healthcare, and as a critical care and hospice certified nurse. She also brings this experience into her teaching, integrating real life experiences into the course material to engage and excite students about healthcare.

Her certifications cover the human lifespan. She unquestionably takes joy in teaching and is dedicated to her students’ success. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
