B.A. in Psychology/M.S. in Occupational Therapy (joint degree with Dominican College)
College of Mount Saint Vincent (B.A.) – Dominican College (M.S.) Cooperative Program
The College has a cooperative 3-3 arrangement with Dominican College, which enables Mount students to earn a B.A. degree in Psychology from the Mount and an M.S. degree in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College after six years of study.
Students complete three years of coursework at the Mount and then apply for admission into the Dominican College Occupational Therapy Program. Students who meet the Dominican College criteria for admission and are accepted in the Occupational Therapy program will spend the final three years at Dominican College.
Mount students interested in this program must apply to Dominican College during their third year at the Mount and take their English Placement Exam. Courses completed at Dominican College are transferred back to the Mount to complete the undergraduate degree requirements.
Students must complete all Liberal Arts courses with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and with no grade lower than a C (2.0). Students will take additional perquisite Occupational Therapy courses at Dominican during the summer between their third and fourth year.
