Dr. Nagi’s teaching and scholarly work addresses the sociology of political economy with emphasis on health care, social inequality, social change and human development. Another core area of expertise is social research methods and statistics. The founder of the Undergraduate Research Directorate in 2010, which focused on undergraduate research interests in the social sciences, Dr. Nagi brings almost two decades’ worth of institutional experience and depth to the department of sociology.
