Mary Di Buono, FNP, RN, MS, BSN
Assistant Dean of Nursing for Clinical and Simulation Learning
Mary Di Buono is a family nurse practitioner with specialization in Pediatrics, and certification in Simulation and a proud alumni of the Mount. In her role as Assistant Dean of Clinical and Simulation Learning, Ms. Di Buono and her Clinical Team work closely with over 25 healthcare affiliates every semester ensuring students are receiving excellent clinical opportunities across the lifespan with culturally diverse populations where they can apply concepts learnt in didactic courses and develop critical thinking and judgement skills which prepare them for practice.
Ms. Di Buono and the Simulation Team also ensure that students are prepared in our state of the art simulation laboratories in Aquino Hall for these clinical experiences. In this setting, students develop competence, confidence, and are safe and fully prepared for their clinical rotations.
Ms. Di Buono works with a clinical pool of over 300 clinical adjuncts (many of whom are alumni of the College!) ensuring students are being trained by competent experienced clinicians that are currently working throughout the metropolitan and rural NY areas.
