Andrew Zhu, PA-C, is a physician assistant with approximately a decade of experience in surgical and critical care subspecialties. He earned his MS in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College’s Manhattan campus, then completed additional training at the Montefiore Postgraduate Physician Assistant Residency in surgery.
Since then, he has worked at various hospitals and specialized in general surgery, vascular surgery, medical critical care, neurocritical care, and surgical critical care. He has had prior Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training at a Level I Trauma Center and Emergency Neurologic Life Support (ENLS) training. Currently, he works an ICU Physician Assistant at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and has served as a faculty member within their Critical Care Symposium teaching Point-Of-Care-Ultrasound (POCUS). Additionally, he is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and has taught as a Fundamental Critical Care Support (FCCS) instructor. He is passionate about medicine and takes pride in educating the next generation of physician assistants.
