Residential Options
On behalf of the Office of Housing and Residence Life–welcome to the CMSV community! The Residence Life staff is here to help you make the most of your experience as a resident student. Life on campus offers a unique opportunity to further your education outside of the classroom. By participating in the dynamic living environment in one of the College’s six residence halls, you’ll find that living on campus adds an exciting dimension to your college experience. You’ll meet lots of people, make new friends, enjoy increased independence, and you’ll have fun. Experiencing campus life to the fullest is in your hands.
Our residence halls offer both traditional and suite-style living options. Each building houses 90-200 residents. Rooms are single, double, or triple occupancy and are equipped with bed, dresser, desk, chair, closet/wardrobe for each occupant. Each room has data jacks and wifi access. Suite-style rooms consist of two single rooms or two double rooms and a shared bathroom. Room amenities are the same as traditional residence hall room. Students supply their own linens, clothing, photos, and other personal items. The residence halls offer amenities such as lounges, study spaces, kitchenettes, and laundry rooms.
All buildings are card-access, requiring the use of your student ID. Resident Assistants and/or Campus Security personnel are at the front desk of each building from 8 p.m.-7 a.m. Residence Life regulations and policies appear in the Student Handbook. Students are expected to observe every reasonable precaution and follow residence hall regulations for the safety and well-being of themselves and their fellow campus residents.
