The transition from high school to college is an exciting time. Orientation at the College of Mount Saint Vincent guides students into the Mount community. Orientation offers entering students an opportunity to do practical things, such as get their first class schedule, obtain their IDs, connect with an array of services and support programs, meet new people, begin making friends, and learn about student organizations.
Virtual Orientation: June 22, 24, 29 | July 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22
We invite all new Mount Saint Vincent students to join a Virtual Orientation session, which will be presented on various online platforms. You will learn about academic advising, meet your majors, the numerous opportunities for student involvement outside the classroom, financial aid, and so much more. All the virtual sessions will be led by Orientation Leaders, who will be able to answer all your questions. Stay tuned for a detailed session schedule, which will be released in mid June.
Orientation: July 27 to 30 | August 3 to 6
We are excited to welcome new students to campus for Orientation! In accordance with social distancing guidelines permitted by the state, we are offering eight dates of in-person sessions with limited availability. Each date will include a morning and afternoon session. Students may register for a session that best fits their schedule and they only need to attend one session. During Orientation, students will meet their Orientation Leaders, meet with academic advising, have their student ID photos taken, and much more. Registration for Orientation will begin in June.
