8.2 Full-Time Instructional Faculty Responsibilities

Full-time instructional faculty have the following responsibilities:

1. to make the teaching assignment at the University of Mount Saint Vincent his/her main professional interest and to undertake full-time service during the contract period;
2. to accept the teaching assignment given by the Department Chair, after consultation;
3. to support fully the liberal arts tradition and the mission and goals of the College;
4. to promote the general interests and image of the College;
5. to observe and enforce the regulations of the College;
6. to accept non-teaching assignments to student advisement, membership on committees and moderatorship of extra and co-curricular activities;
7. to comply with regulations concerning syllabi, maintenance of the scheduled hours, submission of final grades, notification of absence, etc.
