Commuter Information
Get involved!
The Office of Student Activities, Leadership, and Commuter Life (OSALCL) manages the Alumnae Pavilion Student Center, plans and implements campus-wide programs, coordinates the functioning of all student clubs and organizations and provides programs and services for commuter students. The Alumnae Pavilion Student Center is comprised of staff offices, a multipurpose room, a game room, a study lounge, and an outdoor patio available to all students.
Commuter Assistants
To help guide and assist our commuter population, we have Commuter Assistants (CAs). They are upperclassmen commuter students who are involved in campus life and assist first-year commuter students to successfully integrate into the Mount community. CAs advise first-year commuter students on how to transition to college while living at home, adjust to the demands of college academics, and commute efficiently. CAs provide programs for commuter students and encourage first-year commuter students to get involved in campus clubs and organizations.
Lockers
Lockers are available to all full-time commuter students. Lockers are located on the first floor of Founders Hall and in the Alumnae Pavilion Student Center. Locker arrangements should be made the first week of the academic year. Lockers will be rented out on a first-come, first-serve basis through the Office of Student Activities, Leadership and Commuter Life.
