Student Publications

The University has sponsored a variety of publications, produced in their entirety by students.

Every effort is made to offer students a variety of opportunities for self-expression. All student writers and editors are encouraged to contribute and are held to high journalistic standards.

Mount Times

Though currently not in publication, the Mount Times was the University’s student newspaper. Student would handle everything from news gathering and reporting, to designing the layout, and advertising.

The Underground

The University’s literary magazine, The Underground, was established in 1921. It presents illustrations and literary works, and is open to contributions from all students on campus and beyond—garnering submissions from across the region, the county, and the globe.
